Our Story
Ardgowan Garage was established in 1935 as a petrol station and car service centre — one of Catford's oldest and most trusted garages. Over the decades we became a VOSA-appointed MOT test centre, and we remain DVSA-authorised today.
Angel Autos has operated the garage since 1982 and took full ownership in 2002, maintaining the same commitment to honest, fair-priced service that has been our hallmark for over 90 years.
We test cars, vans, motorcycles, scooters, and quad-bikes (Class I, II & IV). Our philosophy is simple: we only recommend work your vehicle actually needs — we don't sell tyres or exhausts, so there's no incentive to oversell.
